NBFF 2022 Official Selction

Reviewing over 168 submissions from 39 different countries, the NBFF jury panel curated the NBFF Official Selection by selecting films that explore an innovative approach to collaboration, mixed media, and interdisciplinary filmmaking. The selected films demonstrate unique approaches to challenging the possibilities of what dance can look like in video form. The official kNOwBOX dance Film Festival 2022 selection features 19 dance films by both national and international filmmakers from Australia, Bolivia, China, France, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Spain, The Netherlands, The Republic of Korea, and the United States.

Join the kNOwBOX dance Film Festival as dance and film take viewers around the world exploring different countries, vast landscapes including dance underwater, and even dance in the digital frontier. In addition to film screenings that will open your world view, participate in a vast array of workshops, artist Q&A’s, youth programming, and more. Available both in-person and online. Programs are accessible in English, Spanish, and Korean. No passport is needed for this adventure of Dancing Around the World.
