Wilber Mendoza is an emerging mexican artist working on dancefilm and improvisation practices. Current member of Pocoapoco Local Residency in Oaxaca and Jóvenes Creadores fellowship program in Mexico, he is producing "Otras maneras de decir Te quiero", where he addresses queer indigenous identity throughout the body on the screen.

He is Co-director of Coctelito de Videodanza and Manager of kNOwBOX dance Film Festival Mexico, building public and profesional networks within Mexico and across the USA and South Korea.

 

Wilber collaborates with UNE Art Practices, a project dedicated to curate and accompany artist’s process and to organize residencies programs in Oaxaca City.
